Floral Nursery

When designing a nursery, it's important to keep function, style, and your baby's needs in mind.

For this floral nursery, we knew we wanted something that could grow with our growing girl but still had the sweetness of a baby nursery. We also wanted it to feel bright, cozy, and carefree and to be a space that our baby can play, snuggle, and sleep 12 hours in (fingers crossed).

We started this space with a blank slate of pistachio walls with extremely heavy texture on them. There's nothing wrong with heavy texture, it's just not our favorite.

By smoothing out the walls and painting them a creamy white, the room became light and airy which it certainly was not before. Add in white trim instead of the orangey-wood and the space instantly got brighter.

If you've been following us for a while, you know we love a good statement wall. Removable wallpaper is an easy way to add in color and draw your eye to the back of the room. We fell in love with this Spoonflower wallpaper and knew we'd love it for years to come.
